Nuvola
a delightful brand from Hamburg
Nuvola is a project by the team behind Spezzagrano, an Italian gastronomic brand recognized for its artisanal approach and product quality. In 2020, the team partnered with GRA Agency to develop the Spezzagrano brand identity. Six years later, they returned with a new brand.
Nuvola is an independent brand built around a single signature product: a soft, airy cream-filled brioche. The concept focuses on delivering a memorable customer experience through freshly baked pastries, delicate textures, contemporary beverages, and a convenient grab-and-go format. Customers can either take their order to go or enjoy it on-site, combining speed, aesthetics, and the pleasure of an everyday indulgence.
The brand has been designed as a scalable business model. The first location will open in Hamburg, Germany, with further expansion planned through a chain and franchise model.
GRA Agency was tasked with creating a brand identity from the ground up that would:
• establish a distinctive brand image separate from Spezzagrano;
• preserve the DNA of the parent brand, including quality, craftsmanship, and Italian lightness;
• support sales through packaging and visual communication;
• adapt seamlessly across grab-and-go formats and physical touchpoints;
• offer strong viral potential on Instagram and TikTok;
• provide a scalable foundation for future chain and franchise expansion.
